How did the blast happen in Jharkhand Steel Plant?
Jharkhand The news of a tragic accident came to light in the early hours of Monday from Ramgarh district, where a furnace blast in a steel plant in Hesla created chaos. In this horrific explosion, 9 workers were seriously burnt, the condition of many of them is said to be very critical.
It is being told that the accident happened at around 4 am in the morning when regular work was going on in the plant. Due to the sudden loud explosion, panic spread in the entire area and there was panic on the spot. The intensity of the explosion was so high that even the people nearby got scared.
How did the accident happen?
According to the information received, a furnace suddenly exploded during work at ‘Jharkhand Ispat Plant Private Limited’ located in Hesla. The workers present there got badly burnt due to this explosion. After the accident, an atmosphere of chaos was created in the plant premises and immediate relief and rescue operations were started.
How is the condition of the injured?
Immediately after the incident, all the 9 injured were admitted to ‘The Hope Hospital’ located on Ranchi Road. According to doctors, 7 of these laborers have suffered 60 to 90 percent burns and their condition is very serious. After first aid, the seriously injured have been referred to Devkamal Hospital in Ranchi.
Who are among the injured?
The workers injured in the accident have been identified. Which includes Akhil Rai, Brijlal Bedia, Rajbalan Yadav, Mahesh Mahato, Ashok Bedia, Pandit ji (Raju Jha), Chhotu Sao and Suresh Bedia. As soon as information about the incident was received, local police and administrative officials reached the spot and started investigation. In the preliminary investigation, technical fault or ignorance of safety standards is being considered as the possible cause of the accident. At present, the police and forensic team are busy finding out the real cause of the explosion.

After this incident, there is huge anger among the local people and labor organizations. People have accused the plant management of ignoring safety rules and demanded strict action against the culprits.
