Ranbir Kapoor became the first Bollywood actor to appear on the prestigious list when TIME Magazine selected him as one of its 100 most influential people in the year 2023.
The recognition places him alongside global icons across industries further cementing his growing international impact.
The actor known as superstar has appeared last in Animal movie while he manages to balance his successful film career with his family life because he has become a father to his daughter Raha.
The actor’s selection of movie roles has always attracted public interest but his latest award demonstrates his impact on Indian film industry storytelling through his work beyond box office performance.
Adding a special touch to this achievement actor Ayushmann Khurrana penned the biographical note for Kapoor in the magazine.
Reflecting on his craft and impact Khurrana wrote, “There are actors who chase legacy and there are actors who become one through their craft. Ranbir Kapoor is the latter. Kapoor will appear in upcoming projects because he has multiple professional projects to work on. He will lead the two part epic film Ramayana which Nitesh Tiwari directs with his large cast.
The actor will work again with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to create Love & War because this project marks their first collaboration since his debut film two thousand seven.
