The excitement of the audience is at its peak regarding the trailer of this epic film starring Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier there were reports that the official trailer of the film would be released on July 24, but due to some reason the makers had postponed it. Now finally producer Namit Malhotra and his team have officially announced the new and confirmed release date of the trailer, after which the wait of cinema lovers is about to end. The trailer will be released in ‘Brahma Muhurta’ on July 30 at 4:15 am. The makers of the film have shared a special post and informed that the trailer of ‘Ramayana’ will be released globally on July 30 at 4:15 am (IST). The makers have not chosen this special time suddenly, rather this time is of ‘Brahma Muhurta’. In Hindu beliefs, Brahma Muhurta (time approximately 1 hour 36 minutes before sunrise) is considered the most sacred, auspicious and full of positive energy. The makers wrote on the new poster, "In the auspicious Brahma Muhurta we welcome the arrival of Ramayana with its trailer." Earlier the plan was that it would be shown for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con, but later it was decided to have a simultaneous global launch on digital platforms. Makers took a big step after the leaked clips. While on one hand the fans were eagerly waiting for the official promo, on the other hand there was a stir due to the leaking of some clips of the trailer on social media. In fact, a glimpse of the trailer was shown during the ‘Pratham Sankalp’ event held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, then a special screening in Mumbai and San Diego Comic-Con. From there some excerpts spread on the internet in an unofficial manner. After the leak incident, producer Namit Malhotra and his legal team immediately launched an anti-piracy drive and got the pirated content removed from social media. Considering this leakage and the increasing demand of fans, the makers decided to release the trailer as soon as possible. Featuring Oscar-winning music and a mega-star cast, ‘Ramayana’ is being produced on the grandest scale in the history of Indian cinema. Talking about the lead characters in the film: Ranbir Kapoor – Lord Shri Ram Sai Pallavi – Mata Sita Yash – Lankapati Ravana (also co-producer) Other lead actors: Sunny Deol (Hanuman), Ravi Dubey (Lakshman), Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi and Kunal Kapoor. The music of the film was composed by two of the world’s leading composers—Oscar winner Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman (AR Rahman) are preparing together. Namit Malhotra’s company ‘DNEG’ is working on its VFX. This mega budget film will hit the theaters in November 2026.
