Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra launched a promotional campaign for the upcoming cinematic epic, Ramayanawith a grand event in New Delhi on Saturday. Titled Pratham Sankalp (First Resolve), the event marked the beginning of the film’s journey to the global stage ahead of its worldwide trailer release on July 24.
Ramayana Promotional Strategy
Through the Ramayana Schools Programme, more than 500 schools and hundreds of thousands of students in India have engaged with this epic’s core values. The producers flew selected winners from the aforesaid programme to participate in the event on Saturday.
In addition, the makers will grant numerous content creators and fans from 20 major Indian cities exclusive preview access to the Ramayana trailer prior to its public release.
Director Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame helms the ambitious project, which stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, among others. Veteran actors Arun Govil, Shobana, Ajinkya Deo, Kunal Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Ravi Dubey round out the supporting cast.
