A light-hearted moment from the promotional tour of Ramayana caught fans attention after a video of Indian actors Ranbir Kapoor and Yash surfaced online.
The actors had attended San Diego Comic-Con with director Nitesh Tiwari and other members of the film’s team to promote the upcoming movie. During an interview, they took part in a colouring activity while the conversation continued.
The clip showed Yash carefully colouring a sketch of Ravana, while Ranbir Kapoor focused on an illustration of Lord Rama. Both actors remained busy with their drawings throughout the segment, and the video quickly spread across social media.
Many fans reacted to the moment with playful comments. One user wrote, “Meet pookie girl daddies. How are they both so invested in drawing?” Another commented, “Rama and Ravana doing this in another universe.”
Several others described the moment as “cute” and “adorable.” One fan wrote, “They are like cute kids,” while another said, “Arya and Raha are very lucky.” Another comment read, “It’s so cute knowing that both have daughters and they must have probably done this with them too.”
Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita. The cast also includes Ravie Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh and Kunal Kapoor.
The makers had earlier planned to release the film’s trailer, but producer Namit Malhotra later announced that the launch had been postponed.
In a social media post, he wrote, “Today is a very special moment for our Ramayana. My dream of taking Ramayana to the world is now a reality with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. In light of the above, we will be launching our trailer globally at a later date.”
Director Nitesh Tiwari had also spoken about the film’s two-part format. He said, “Ramayana is a linear story, and where we leave off in Part One is something you can call a cliffhanger. It is something that will make people want to watch Part Two the moment they leave the theatre.”
The first part of Ramayana is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026.
