Ranchi: ED’s Ranchi unit raided a total of 20 locations including Ghaziabad-Noida in the chit fund scam. ED has earlier raided locations in Jharkhand in the MAXIZONE chit fund scam.

ED raids locations outside the state in the second round of investigation into the MAXIZONE chitfund scam. The raid started around 6 am. Apart from Ranchi, officers from other places including Delhi have been included in the raid.
Governor Santosh Gangwar returned two bills to the government, State University Bill 2025 and Coaching Center and Regulation Bill.
Jharkhand ED’s zonal office had started investigation into the MAXIZONE chit fund scam on the basis of an FIR lodged in Jamshedpur. Chandrabhushan Singh and his wife are the directors of this company. Both of them absconded after the FIR was registered in Jamshedpur police station. Chandrabhushan Singh and his wife were living in Noida after changing their names. He has been arrested by the local police.
