Ranchi: Police raided Sally Traders located in Tupudana Industrial Area. This action has been taken as part of the investigation related to banned cough syrup. Under the leadership of City DSP, the police raided three different locations. During this, the police searched and confiscated banned substances kept in shops and warehouses. The police are now thoroughly investigating the matter and seeing who is involved. According to the police, the aim of this action is to remove banned drugs and substances being sold illegally from the market and to take legal action against the criminals concerned.

More than 25 thousand cough syrup bottles were recovered in the raid. An FIR was registered in Barwadih police station regarding this. During investigation it was revealed that the recovered cough syrup was used as an intoxicant. Dhanbad Police was still investigating when CID took over the investigation.
