New Delhi. Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal is on fast unto death for the last 46 days, his health is continuously deteriorating. Meanwhile, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala met him and inquired about his well-being. He said, his health is continuously deteriorating and this is a matter of great concern.

Randeep Singh Surjewala has shared the video of the meeting on social media. He wrote that, when Gandhiji was sitting on a fast, British Prime Minister Churchill used to ask the officials why the old man had not died yet! Is this government also on the path of Churchill? Along with this, while talking to the media, he said, today he met farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal ji, who has been on fast unto death for one and a half months at Khanauri border, and asked about his well being. His health is continuously deteriorating and this is a matter of great concern.
Their demand is the same which Prime Minister Modi ji had promised to the farmers and that promise was the law to guarantee MSP. The question is whether Modi ji's words or his tongue have any value or not? I have assured Dallewala ji that we are with him and the law of guarantee of MSP is paramount for us.
