Ranji Trophy: Ravindra Jadeja took 12 wickets in Saurashtra vs Delhi match

India's star all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly for Saurashtra in Rajkot. The left -handed spinner took 12 wickets and gave his team a stunning victory over Delhi. Jadeja returned through the Ranji Trophy last year after being injured.

This experienced all-rounder took advantage of the circumstances in a brilliant way and harassed Delhi's batting line-up. Left -handed spinner Dharmendra Singh Jadeja supported his senior and took 16 wickets in the match, winning Saurashtra by 10 wickets.

Jadeja also played an important innings of 38 runs off 36 balls in Saurashtra's first innings. After taking 12 wickets in the match, Jadeja brought the number of first class wickets to 550. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant was dismissed for just 1 run in the first innings. Even in the second innings, Pant could not play a big innings and scored 17 runs and was dismissed by his partner Jadeja. Talking about Saurashtra's batting, Harvik Desai scored 93 runs and helped the team score 271 runs in the first innings. Delhi's team was reduced to 188 runs in front of Ravindra Jadeja's brilliant batting in the first innings.

Ayush Badoni performed as a star batsman for Delhi. He scored 60 runs in the first innings and scored 44 runs out of a total of 94 runs. At first Virat Kohli was supposed to play the match, but the former Indian captain decided to be out of the match due to injury. Virat is expected to play against the Railways in the final round of the tournament starting on January 30. Ravindra Jadeja would like to continue his good form in the upcoming ODI series against England starting on 6 February. Jadeja has also been included in India's 15 -member team for the Champions Trophy starting on February 19. The Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai as the ICC has confirmed that it will be in high-octane tournament hybrid mode.
