Rishabh Pant was a flop

Rishabh Pant had come to play Ranji for Delhi after a long time. The team management was expecting that he would play a big innings but Pant, who faced inconsistency in his performance, was a flop in this match. He was out after scoring only 1 run after facing 10 balls.

Captaincy innings of Ayush Badoni

When Rishabh Pant returned to the Delhi team, he was offered the captaincy but he did not consider it appropriate to tinker with the existing setup for just a few matches and left the captaincy with Ayush Badoni. Ayush played captaincy innings in this match and played an important role in taking Delhi close to 200. Ayush scored 60 runs in 78 balls hitting 2 sixes and 5 fours. Yash Dhull was the second top scorer by scoring 44 runs and Mayank Jitendra Gusen was the third top scorer by scoring 38 runs. Delhi team was reduced to 188 in 49.4 overs.
