‘Dhurandhar 2’ dominated in advance booking, still could not break the record of KGF and Pusha sequels

Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking: Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, created a stir in the theatres. At the same time, now the second part of the film i.e. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is coming to entertain people after three days. This film will be released in theaters on March 19, for which fans are eagerly waiting. In such a situation, advance booking of the film has started and it is earning handsomely at the box office. However, it still has not been able to break the records of films like KGF 2 and Pushpa 2.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ is making waves before its release

‘Dhurandhar 2’ is creating a lot of buzz even before its release. After the historical response to the paid preview, it is now getting a tremendous response in advance booking on the first day of its release. The booking of the film is going on rapidly. The number of shows in theaters is also increasing and has so far crossed 15,000 in PVR Inox and Cinepolis. But the biggest challenge for the exhibitors is the long runtime of the film of 4 hours, because such a long runtime is affecting the total number of shows.

Advance booking collection of ‘Dhurandhar 2’?

According to SACNL data, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has sold more than 3.12 lakh tickets on the opening day across the country. It has earned a net earning of Rs 14.62 crore at the Indian box office from advance booking on the first day itself. There are still three more days left for its release, so it is believed that this film can cross the Rs 30 crore mark even before its release. Ranveer Singh’s film has defeated Sunny Deol’s Border 2 released this year in pre sales. ‘Border 2’ had sold tickets worth Rs 12.5 crore and Dhurandhar has crossed the figure in just 2 days.

Highest booking is happening in this version

Let us tell you that in the advance booking of the first day of Dhurandhar 2, the maximum number of tickets were sold in the Hindi version. The film has sold around 2.9 lakh tickets so far. After this, the Telugu dubbed version is at second place, for which around 14 thousand tickets have been sold. The Tamil version is at number three and more than 7.8 thousand tickets have been sold. Around 225 tickets of the Malayalam version have been sold followed by 22 tickets of the Kannada version. However, this is not the final figure yet because there are still three days left for the film’s release and in such a situation, there will be an increase in the advance booking of the film.

Could not break the records of KGF 2 and Pusha 2

Let us tell you, Dhurandhar 2 has just broken the record of Border 2. But still it has not made it to the top 5. ‘KGF 2’ is at the top among the current record-holders. This is the only film which has crossed the Rs 40 crore mark in Hindi advance sales. At the same time, Bahubali 2 is in second place, it had earned Rs 37.53 crore from its advance booking. Then at number three is Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 (Pushpa 2)– Rs 37.30 crore. Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan is at fourth place – Rs 37.24 crore, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal is at fifth place. Which earned Rs 29.25 crore from advance booking.
