After which the matter escalated so much that the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) even issued a notice of non-cooperation against him. However, this notice was later withdrawn. Now amidst this whole controversy, a new update has come out. Veteran actress and President of Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) Poonam Dhillon has supported the actor in the Don 3 controversy. For which the actor’s father expressed his gratitude.

Poonam Dhillon supported Ranveer in Don 3 controversy

Poonam Dhillon told in an interview that after FWICE withdrew the notice, she spoke to Ranveer Singh’s father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani on phone. According to Poonam Dhillon, Ranveer’s father expressed his gratitude for his support. He said that CINTAA respects those people in the industry who supported Ranveer in this difficult time and adopted an impartial stand.

Actress in constant touch with family

Poonam Dhillon told that during the Don 3 controversy, Ranveer Singh’s family was constantly keeping an eye on the matter. Jagjit Bhavnani also kept giving him information about this matter from time to time. He told that Ranveer’s family was also in talks with Excel Entertainment. The family said that their relations with the production house are good and there is no personal grudge. His only concern was that the kind of action taken in this case was not the right way.

Why did CINTAA support Ranveer?

Poonam Dhillon clearly said that CINTAA was not in favor of the notice issued against Ranveer Singh from the beginning. He believed that an actor has every right to take decisions regarding his career and films.

He said that if there is any difference of opinion between a producer and an actor regarding a film, then it should be resolved by both the parties together. In such cases, such action against an actor cannot be considered right.

He had claimed that he had suffered a loss of about Rs 40 crore. However, Ranveer Singh had initially asked to give some money.

Meanwhile, FWICE has issued a notice of non-cooperation against Ranveer Singh. After which many people in the industry criticized it. However, this notice was withdrawn after a few days. With this, this matter seems to be slowly calming down.
