Rape and murder case in Kolkata: Court's big decision, main accused Sanjay Roy found guilty
New Delhi. The court has given a big verdict in the case of rape and murder of a female doctor in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. The court has declared the main accused Sanjay Roy guilty. The court said that the sentence will be pronounced on Monday. During the hearing of the case, accused Sanjay said, 'I have been implicated in a false case.

Let us tell you that Kolkata Police had accused Sanjay Roy of committing a heinous crime with a lady doctor on August 9 last year. The closed-door hearing in this case started on November 12. After 57 days, Additional District and Sessions Judge Anirban Das of Sealdah Court has given the verdict. Kolkata Police, which was investigating the case, arrested Roy on August 10. A day before this, the doctor's body was recovered from the seminar room of the hospital. Later the Calcutta High Court handed over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
