Ride-hailing platform Quick is facing a service outage, with users across multiple cities reporting log in failures and ride disruptions.
Several users flagged the issues on social media, saying they were unable to log in to the app or complete ongoing rides. The app showed an error message stating, “Oops! Something went wrong at our end. Please try again later.”

Notably, Rapido services faced disruptions across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, indicating that the outage was not limited to a single region.
Inc42’s query to Rapido seeking details on the cause of the outage remained unanswered.
The outage came amid a broader trend of recurring tech disruptions across consumer internet and digital infrastructure platforms in India. Over the past year, several high-traffic platforms have faced temporary outages due to server failures, traffic spikes, network capacity shortfalls or third-party infrastructure issues.
Most recently, a Cloudflare outage knocked several Indian broking platforms such as Zerodha, Groww and Angel One offline during trading hours.
In recent months, global platforms such as YouTube, ChatGPT and X faced outages which impacted users across geographies. Closer home, critical digital services such as UPI and major fintech apps also saw intermittent disruptions.
It is pertinent to note that Rapido is currently diversifying its business by moving into multiple new verticals. While it entered the food delivery segment with the launch of new app ‘Ownly’ to take on Zomato and Swiggy, it also integrated flight, hotel, bus and train bookings in its app, in partnership with players such as Goibibo, redBus and ConfirmTkt, in October.
On the financial front, the company is yet to file its financial statements for FY25. It was expecting an operating revenue of INR 1,000 in FY25 while reaching profitability in next fiscal.
The ride-hailing major posted a net loss of INR 370 Cr in FY24, even as its revenue rose 1.5X YoY to INR 648.1 Cr.
