Rapper Bow Wow has emerged as an unexpected supporter of Sean “Diddy” Combs, expressing how much he had missed the parties hosted by the now incarcerated artist. The American artist recently made some shocking remarks in an interview with podcaster Rocsi Diaz. Later, though, he came under fire from netizens for his comments on Diddy.
Bow Wow desperate to cherish Diddy’s extravaganza?
In talks with More To The Story podcast ft Rocsi Diaz, the rapper deemed Diddy as the “gatekeeper to the game.” “Like, BET Award weekend, like the past two, it didn’t feel right,” he stated while indicating the BET Awards held in June and the BET Hip Hop Awards channeled last week. “There was no motion, there were no parties. There was nowhere to go.”
Without mentioning the artist by name, Bow Wow and Rocsi Diaz discussed “takedowns” in the industry. Bow Wow claimed he wasn’t impacted by these takedowns when asked if he was concerned about them.
Federal investigators said that Diddy’s notorious parties were “freak offs” where women were forced into non-consensual sexual acts. Diddy was arrested in September on allegations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other sexual assault cases. Fans were so offended by Bow Wow’s comments over skipping these gatherings and slammed him for his word choice.

Bow Wow didn’t stop there in praising Diddy. Host Rocsi Diaz reminded him during the show of the “freak-off” parties Diddy is accused of throwing coerced sex sessions with male escorts under the influence of drugs. Then, Diaz cut Bow Wow off to explain the difference between Diddy’s glitzy, celebrity-filled parties and the illicit actions he is alleged to be planning, which Diddy has denied.
“For the record, I left before 1 a.m.! I never stayed!” Diaz, stated in affirmation when BW mentioned about the industry parties. She stated, “I’ve only been to two parties, and I’ve never seen a freak-off!” as reported by TMZ.
“You feel it. It’s like a hole. He was everything hip hop! So for that to die out, you just would have never thought. He was really important to the culture,” he continued.
“This boy Bow Wow really said ‘life ain’t been fun since the Diddler got locked up’ How embarrassing,” a tweet read. “He has lost his mind..no doubt his career sank,” another added. “Can he read the room?” said a third. “Soooooo… nobody else but Diddy can host a party? I’m confused,” quipped another user on X.
Diddy’s trial is set for 2025, and the judge has twice refused to grant him bail. The producer for Bad Boy Records has entered a not guilty plea, and his legal team is attempting to have him released.
