Rare books of 'Nirmal Baba' burnt to ashes in Mahakumbh fire, even cash 'swached' in fire
Mahakumbh 2025: A massive fire broke out at 4.30 pm on Sunday evening in Sector 19 of the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Many tents were burnt to ashes in this arson. Nirmal Baba, who came from Mysore, Karnataka, lost everything in this fire. From rare books and spiritual practice material to his personal belongings, everything was burnt to ashes. Baba expressed his pain and described it as an unimaginable loss.
Baba's valuable belongings destroyed in arson
Let us tell you that Nirmal Baba told that his passbook, bank diary, important documents, cash and food items also got caught in the fire. Apart from this, his valuable and rare books, sadhana yantras and astrology books were also turned into ashes. Baba said that he had come to Mahakumbh for his Vedic sadhana, but due to the fire, his sadhana work has come to a standstill.
'I can face every difficulty with self-confidence'
Let us tell you that Nirmal Baba expressed his grief over this incident and said, “I have no problem with this. I have so much self-confidence that I can live anywhere.'' He also told that all the contact cards of those whom he had to contact were also burnt. Baba talked about not getting help from the administration and said that at present he is facing a lot of difficulties.

Let us tell you that in this incident of arson, not only Nirmal Baba but many other saints and sages also suffered loss. Clothes, blankets and other items of many monks were also burnt in the fire. The administration took immediate action on the incident and brought the fire under control, but by then there had been massive damage.
