Rashid wrote- I am deeply saddened by the latest news of civilian deaths as a result of Pakistani air strikes in Kabul. Intentionally or unintentionally targeting civilian homes, educational institutions or medical facilities is a war crime. The blatant disregard for people’s lives, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, is disgusting and extremely worrying. This will only increase division and hatred. I urge the United Nations and other human rights agencies to thoroughly investigate this atrocity and hold the perpetrators accountable. I stand with our Afghan citizens in this difficult time. We will recover and rise again as a nation. We always do this. Inshallah!
