Rashmika blushes gazing at Vijay during puja; jumps in joy while greeting crowd; fans call it ‘cringe’
Telugu superstars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got married on February 26 in the presence of close friends and family at ITC Mementoes, Udaipur. A day after their wedding, the couple jetted off to Hyderabad. They sought blessings at a temple on Sunday, and on Monday, the couple of the moment performed their gruhapravesam (house-entering ceremony) and Satyanarayana Vratam puja at their new home in Thummanapeta, Telangana.
The couple also interacted with the villagers and greeted them.
In a viral video, villagers are seen welcoming the newlyweds. Rashmika’s sister, Shiman Mandanna, and Vijay’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, accompanied the couple as they waited for the rituals to begin.
Apart from the couple radiating joy and love, their adorable chemistry was irresistible.
They were welcomed at their new home with folk dance and music, as numerous villagers turned out for the ceremony.
A traditional aarti was performed, and a woman took their dishti (nazar) as they entered the new home.
For the puja, Rashmika wore a cream-coloured saree with a red and golden border. Vijay complemented her in a cream-coloured kurta. When they entered the village, they wore green-coloured twinning outfits. A video on social media also shows the arrangements made for the couple’s arrival at their new home.
When they arrived in green outfits, Rashmika’s no-make-up looks created a stir on social media. Vijay’s unironed kurta also grabbed eyeballs.
However, a section of netizens trolled Rashmika for laughing and being over enthusiastic.

A user wrote, “Guyz she is extrovert extremely expressive hyper in action so don’t judge her that is her personality and don’t do negative comments afterall they just married now give your love happiness and blessings for them not comments and doubts here don’t mind let’s be positive guyz …..”

Another mentioned, “I feel she always tries to act for the camera rather than living in the moment.”
The third one said,”They look so tired. Travelling continuously since their wedding. But still managing everything patiently with a smile.”
