Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have tied the knot in an intimate yet grand ceremony in Udaipur on February 26 at 8 am.
The couple exchanged vows following traditional Telugu Hindu rituals that honoured the groom’s heritage. Later in the evening, they are expected to host a Kodava ceremony as a tribute to Rashmika’s roots, reflecting a celebration of both families and cultures.
One of the most memorable highlights of the wedding was the bride’s dramatic entry. According to sources, Rashmika made a breathtaking arrival by walking down a mountain, creating an emotional and visually stunning moment for guests.
A Celebration of “Virosh”
The couple officially announced their union as “The Wedding of Virosh”, a name lovingly given to them by their fans over the years. In a heartfelt message shared earlier, the newlyweds thanked supporters for their unwavering love and for being part of their journey.
Following the ceremony, sweets were distributed to paparazzi stationed outside the venue. Kaju Katli boxes reportedly featured a photograph of the bride, adding a personalised touch to the celebrations.

Pre-wedding festivities began earlier this week with a fun cricket match dubbed the “Virosh Premiere League.” On February 24, the couple hosted their Sangeet ceremony, where friends performed to Vijay’s hit tracks.
The couple reportedly danced to Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale from their 2018 film Geetha Govindammarking a nostalgic tribute to their first on-screen collaboration. The décor featured blown-up unseen photographs of the pair over the years.
During the Sangeet, Vijay’s mother gifted Rashmika heirloom bangles, making the evening especially meaningful.
Haldi and Mehendi Ceremonies
The Haldi ceremony on February 25 featured vibrant yellow and pink floral décor, personalised paper flowers bearing the names “Vijay” and “Rushie,” and a stage adorned with rose petals.
A playful poster depicted Rashmika’s Cocker Spaniel Aura and Vijay’s Husky Storm in cartoon form, adding a personal and lighthearted touch to the celebrations. The Mehendi ceremony followed later that evening, leading up to the fairytale morning wedding.
Grand Reception in Hyderabad
After concluding their Udaipur ceremonies, the newlyweds are expected to return to Hyderabadwhere they will host a grand reception for friends and colleagues from the film industry.
