The long-running discussions regarding the marriage of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna now seem to be almost finalized. According to reports, both the actors are preparing to take seven rounds in 2026. It is being told that after getting engaged in a very private manner in the presence of the family in October, the couple has now started planning their wedding.
Vijay and Rashmika did not give any statement
Vijay and Rashmika have not yet given any public statement regarding their relationship, but sources close to them have shared important information related to the marriage. According to sources, the marriage of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will take place on 26 February 2026 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The couple has finalized a historical palace for the wedding, which is known for its grandeur and royal atmosphere. Like the engagement, the wedding is also planned to be kept very private, in which only family members and very close friends will attend. The couple does not want this ceremony to be held in front of the media or a large crowd.
It is also not clear whether Vijay and Rashmika will host any grand reception or party for their friends associated with the film industry after returning to Hyderabad after marriage. At present both are completely silent on this matter.
Both of them got engaged in Hyderabad
If we talk about engagement, both of them got engaged in Hyderabad on 3 October 2025, a day after Dussehra. This ceremony was also very simple and private, in which only family and a few selected friends were present. Even at that time, Vijay and Rashmika had not made any post on social media, but Vijay’s team had confirmed it to the media and also told that the marriage would take place in February.
Although both of them never openly accepted their relationship, but on many occasions the closeness between them has come into the public eye. Vijay’s expression of affection towards Rashmika in an event of the film ‘The Girlfriend’ was much talked about. Rashmika has also mentioned her “partner” in many interviews, who helped her in coming out of difficult times.
Talking about the work front, Vijay and Rashmika worked together in the 2018 superhit film ‘Geeta Govindam’ and 2019’s ‘Dear Comrade’. Apart from this, both of them led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and were also seen together in international programs like ‘India Beyond Borders’. After the news of their engagement came out, both of them were seen wearing rings several times, due to which the curiosity about their marriage has increased even more among the fans.
