Reacting on X, formerly Twitter, the actress reacted to a fan’s social media post and a heartfelt letter praising Rashmika and Vijay. The user wrote that the truest evidence of love is genuine admiration for one’s partner, showing respect, appreciation, and pride in their partner for everyone to see clearly. “Watching @iamRashmika look at @TheDeverakonda reminded me of that. So I wrote about it.”

Rashmika responded to the post, admitting she felt emotional after reading the heartfelt note. The actress from Geetha Govindam said it had been a long time since something written about her had moved her so deeply. She explained that she had many feelings she wished to share, yet only a few she could truly put into words. Rashmika added that she is currently discovering her own space in life, describing it as a journey she feels sincerely grateful for, and she thanked the writer for acknowledging it. Reflecting on love she said people should find love that truly liberates them.

Vijay and Rashmika Celebrate Their Wedding with Fans

After their wedding, the couple released a note announcing that on 1 March they would send trucks loaded with love and sweets across the country to celebrate their union and seek blessings from fans. The sweets were shared in many cities such as Delhi, Bihar, Telangana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Annadanam was also organised at temples in Karnataka, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana too.

Rashmika and Vijay Get Engaged

Rashmika and Vijay had been in a relationship for some time before getting engaged in a private ceremony in October last year. The couple married on 26 February. However, they kept their relationship and engagement private, only revealing everything publicly when they officially announced their wedding earlier in February.

The couple later held their wedding reception in Hyderabad on March 4. Dressed in traditional South Indian attire, Vijay chose a cream kurta with a dhoti while Rashmika appeared in a red and gold saree. She completed the look with heavy gold jewellery and sindoor, adding a classic bridal touch.

Vijay and Rashmika’s Upcoming Projects

Meanwhile professionally, the popular on-screen pair from hit films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade will reunite in Ranabaali, a period action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Vijay Deverakonda plays the titular freedom fighter, while Rashmika Mandanna appears as his steadfast support, Jayamma, a character central to his struggle and journey.
