Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are fulfilling their fans’ dreams. Recently, a young fan had complained on Instagram that she wasn’t invited to Virosh’s wedding. She shared a reel on IG, asking why the star couple hadn’t invited her. Her heartfelt plea was heard: on Friday, the couple hosted the fan and her family for lunch.

The young fan documented the heartwarming meeting at the actor’s home and shared the video online. In the clip, Rashmika is seen serving ladoos to the girl and giving her a sweet kiss on the forehead, while Vijay serves her rice and shows his affection as well. Vijay even lifts her in his arms and gently caresses her.

Along with the clip, the fan captioned it, “Reel to real: Meeting Vijay Deverakonda at his home was truly a wonderful and unforgettable moment for my family and me. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness, making us feel completely at ease. It was also such a delight to meet Rashmika Mandanna, whose cheerful smile and friendly nature added even more happiness to the visit. Earlier, after Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding on February 28, the young fan had shared a video in early March. In that clip, she pointed out that while the couple was busy distributing laddoos and organising anna danam (food offerings), she hadn’t received an invitation. The little girl asked, “Manam kuda fans ee kada?” (“Am I not a fan too?”) and urged viewers to help her reach the stars.

Vijay responded with a sweet comment: “Sooo cuteeee,” followed by a heartfelt invitation: “Bujjithallii… intiki pilustha lunch ki… Nee favourite food and sweets naku cheppu, anni intlo cheppinchi manchiga thindamu” (“Little one, I’ll invite you home for lunch. Tell me your favourite food and sweets, I’ll prepare everything and we’ll enjoy it together”). Rashmika also shared the video on her Instagram Stories, promising the girl a special surprise.

Rashmika and Vijay tied the knot on February 26 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in the presence of family and close friends. The intimate wedding featured two sets of rituals a Telugu wedding in the morning honouring Vijay’s roots, followed by a Kodava ceremony in the evening to honor Rashmika’s heritage.

Both wore traditional ensembles designed by Anamika Khanna, with Rashmika in a rust-coloured saree and Vijay in an ivory dhoti with a vermillion angavastram. The couple then returned to Hyderabad, where they held a fan meet-and-greet and a post-wedding reception, also meeting with dignitaries.

Vijay and Rashmika are set to reunite for director Rahul Sankrityan’s Ranabaali, inspired by real events in India between 1854 and 1878 during British colonial rule. Rashmika recently appeared in the Hindi horror-comedy Thamma (2025) opposite Ayushmann Khurrana and is gearing up for the release of Cocktail 2, starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.
