According to reports, Rashmika and Vijay were moved to tears during the traditional rituals.

After the wedding, Rashmika and Vijay’s team distributed sweets to the paparazzi stationed outside the venue. The sweet boxes had “Virosh Wedding” written on them.

According to a paparazzo, mobiles were sealed at the venue. A black bag was handed over to guests to cover the cameras on their phones.

Take a look:

Their wedding festivities began with the mehendi ceremony, followed by the haldi and sangeet on Wednesday. Photos from Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s haldi ceremony were shared on Instagram Stories by the couple. The haldi ceremony was not the usual one — the couple and their family members were seen smeared in colours of Holi as they celebrated the ceremony.

The outdoor ceremony featured a circular setting framed with soft wooden panelling. Pale pink rose petals lined the centre, where two wooden stools were encircled by baskets filled with yellow and orange marigolds. The floral décor had handwritten paper tags with Rushie and Vijay written on them.

Another clip from their pre-wedding festivities has gone viral. In the video, the couple is seen walking hand-in-hand. Rashmika is dressed in an elegant traditional outfit, while Vijay walks beside her. The two simply walking together, hand in hand, has struck a chord with fans for its simplicity.

Earlier reports revealed that Vijay’s mother grew emotional while blessing Rashmika and lovingly called her “My darling Rushi,” a gesture that reportedly left guests teary-eyed. The evening also included the gifting of traditional heirloom bangles, symbolising her acceptance into the family.

Vijay and Rashmika’s journey began in 2018 on the sets of Geetha Govindam.

Work Front

Rashmika and Vijay will soon be seen together in the period action drama Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The film also features The Mummy (1999) villain Arnold Vosloo in a key role.

Rashmika has been balancing both Telugu and Hindi cinema. Her last Hindi theatrical release was Thamma, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
