Mumbai: The marriage of South Indian cinema’s famous couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda has now become a topic of discussion. The two tied the knot on 26 February 2026 in Udaipur through a traditional and intimate ceremony. On this occasion, in the presence of family and close friends, pictures of this wedding were rapidly shared on Instagram. Recently, the wedding ceremony decoration team released some unseen pictures, in which Rashmika is seen riding in a palanquin. Her fans are seen calling her ‘the most beautiful bride’.

In the pictures shared on Wedmegood’s Instagram account, Rashmika is seen sitting in a palanquin, smiling. He has made a heart sign with his hands, which is showing his happy moment. The palanquin, decorated in a traditional manner, symbolizes the escorting of the bride from her ancestral home to her in-laws’ home, a common custom in South Asian weddings.

Vijay’s royal look in off-white dhoti-kurta

The theme of the wedding was ‘Periodic Era’, which was connected to their roots and was simple yet authentic. Rashmika wore a traditional red or rust saree with temple-house motifs and golden jewellery. Whereas, Vijay adopted a royal look with off-white dhoti-kurta and red shawl. Both of them shared emotional messages along with pictures on Instagram.

Rashmika wrote on Instagram, ‘Now let me introduce you to my ‘husband’ – Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The person who taught me the real meaning of true love. He expressed his feelings about this relationship, which is very special for him.

Vijay also shared his feelings and talked about changing Rashmika from his best friend to his wife and said that everything feels better with her. The wedding took place at the luxurious resort of ITC Mementos, where two ceremonies were held, one as per Telugu Hindu rituals and the other as per Kodava culture. Beautiful pictures of both have gone viral on social media, which fans are portraying as Shiva-Parvati.
