Mahakumbh is going to be organized in Prayagraj next year, crores of devotees will participate in Mahakumbh. Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is also busy preparing for Mahakumbh. There are many people in Mahakumbh who live there and depend on the stores there. Yogi government has taken a new decision for such people. The state government is committed to ensure that the devotees coming to Mahakumbh do not remain hungry.

ration card scheme

The UP government's preparations for Mahakumbh are in the final stages. This time, along with Bhandara, free ration will also be available in the Kumbh Mela. The government will give ration cards to the Kalpavasis and devotees who stay for a long time in the Kumbh Mela, so that they can get ration and they do not have to worry about food. The Food and Logistics Department of Uttar Pradesh will set up 160 ration shops throughout the fair. Devotees can buy ration from these shops at reasonable prices.

The ration shops to be set up in Mahakumbh will provide ration only to Kalpavasis and devotees on showing their ration cards. The government says that ration will be given twice in January and February. For this, the government will also build five warehouses in the fair. The estimated cost of this project will be Rs 43 crore.

Sugar and cylinders will also be available in the fair

Devotees will also get sugar and cooking gas at ration shops. A separate shop will be made for LPG cylinders. The government will issue ration cards to about two lakh people in the fair. So that the devotees and Kalpavasis living in Akharas and camps can get the benefit of this scheme. Yogi government says that this decision taken in view of Mahakumbh will help the devotees.

There will be special emphasis on cleanliness

Plans are underway to create a new record during Mahakumbh 2025. Under this scheme, 15,000 people will participate in the cleanliness campaign simultaneously at various places and ghats of the fair area. Apart from this, another special record will be set in this cleanliness campaign, in which 300 people will come together into the river and carry out the cleanliness campaign. The aim of this initiative is to give a new dimension to cleanliness in Mahakumbh and increase awareness about cleanliness.
