Ravana Lanka Tour: Pradeep Kabra, who played the role of a powerful villain in Bollywood films, recently visited Sri Lanka. During this tour, he also visited the place where Ravana’s Lanka was, where Ravana used to bathe and where he imprisoned Goddess Sita. When Pradeep Kabra showed the fans what Ravana’s Lanka looks like now after millions of years, its natural beauty and the remote places where Sita was hidden, they were amazed.

Pradeep Kabra said that even today every small and big place in Sri Lanka is named after Ravana. He showed the place where Ravana used to bathe. This place is called ‘Chota Ravana Falls’. Pradeep Kabra also bathed in the Ravana waterfall.

Pradeep Kabra then showed Ravana’s cave, where Goddess Sita was kept in captivity, hidden from everyone. This cave of Ravana is located at Ella. Pradeep said that it is such a remote place that it is difficult to find where Ravana would have kept Sita at that time. Pradeep said that he went to a museum built in Sri Lanka and according to the evidence found there, Ravana brought Mother Sita and hid her in a cave in Ella and named her ‘Ravan Guha’ meaning ‘Ravan’s Cave’.

Pradeep Kabra then showed us a glimpse of the Ashoka Vatike, where Goddess Sita was enshrined. While showing a glimpse of the Ashok Vatike, Pradeep was totally engrossed in it and said that the place is so beautiful that words cannot describe it. Pradeep Kabra also showed the tree where Sita used to sit and where Lord Hanuman had his darshan.

It was made of gold and inside it was Ravana’s magnificent golden palace. But now only its remains remain.
