Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar reunite on screen after 22 years in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’

Veteran Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is all set to share the screen once again with actor Akshay Kumar after a gap of 22 years, marking a highly anticipated reunion for fans of the iconic on-screen pair.

The two actors will be seen together in the upcoming film “Welcome to the Jungle,” where they reunite after more than two decades of working separately in the film industry. Their comeback together has generated excitement among audiences who fondly remember their earlier collaborations.

Speaking about the experience in an interview Raveena Tandon expressed her happiness about working again with Akshay Kumar, as well as actors Suniel Shetty and director Ahmed Khan. She described the atmosphere on set as warm and familiar, highlighting that it felt like working with old friends rather than colleagues.

Raveena shared that she and many of the cast members have known each other for a long time, which contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable working environment during the shoot. She also mentioned senior actress Farida Jalal, noting that she had previously played her mother’s role in several films, including “Ziddi”. This long-standing professional familiarity, according to Raveena, added to the comfort and chemistry among the cast members.

She further explained that the entire team often engaged in light-hearted conversations and humor during filming, which helped create a positive and friendly atmosphere on set. Raveena stated that the overall shooting experience was highly enjoyable and emotionally rewarding due to the strong bond shared among the actors.

Speaking specifically about Akshay Kumar, Raveena praised him in glowing terms. She described him as an outstanding and exceptional actor who has always been dedicated to his craft. According to her, Akshay’s commitment to his work remains unwavering, and he consistently puts great energy and passion into every role he undertakes.

She added that over the years, his enthusiasm and dedication appear to have grown even stronger. Raveena also remarked that Akshay has refined his skills over time, becoming even more skilled and polished as an actor. In her view, he continues to evolve professionally while maintaining the same level of hard work and discipline that defined his earlier career.

Raveena and Akshay were once one of Bollywood’s most popular on-screen pairs during the 1990s and early 2000s, starring in several hit films together. Their pairing was widely appreciated by audiences, making their reunion after such a long gap a significant moment for Bollywood fans.

The last time the two actors appeared together on screen was in 2004, in the film “Police Force: An Inside Story.”Since then, both have pursued separate career paths, occasionally collaborating with other actors but not sharing screen space with each other.
