Raveena Tandon shares her love for wildlife photography beyond acting

Raveena Tandon reflects on ‘hobby’ while shooting for ‘Welcome To The Jungle’

Raveena Tandon recently showcased her off-camera passion for wildlife photography while shooting for Welcome To The Jungle.

The 53-year-old actress, who is making headlines for reuniting with ex-boyfriend Akshay Kumar in the newly released film, opened up about her connection with the jungle on Camera Day.

According to Hindustan Timesthe stamp fame said, “The difficulty of wildlife photography is that there’s nothing to pull off. You can’t tell the tiger what to do! The jungle doesn’t owe you anything and you have to earn every single shot.”

She further recalled how she would wait for “the golden opportunity” to capture the perfect shot during a safari at the Satpura Tiger Reserve.

The Andaz Apna Apna star shared, “I was sitting in a hot, still jeep, barely breathing. When the sun set, our guides started to hurry us, but I was not ready to leave yet. Fortunately, a tigress came out, walking straight towards us. There were only three seconds, but I was able to take the photo. What nerves I had, shook the frame.”

Meanwhile, she advised aspiring wildlife photographers to maintain patience as excellent wildlife photographs are never an accident; they are the result of countless attempts.

This statement comes amid the successful theatrical run of Welcome To The Jungle, which earned approximately ₹95 crore worldwide during its opening weekend.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle boasts a star-studded cast, including Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, and Jackie Shroff.
