During this, Ashwin refused to take photographs. On reaching home, he was welcomed in a traditional manner, in which Ashwin was garlanded. During this time many other people were also present. Ashwin thanked everyone and went straight inside the house.

Ashwin cleared his retirement speech
Ravichandran Ashwin may not have said anything about playing in IPL 2025, but if you listen to his retirement speech carefully, you will know that he has not retired from IPL.

Ashwin's father gave controversial statement
Ravichandran Ashwin's father has reacted to his son's retirement. He has told in his talks that his son might have taken this decision because of insult. He said, 'I also came to know about the retirement at the last minute. I don't know what was going on in his mind. He just announced. It was his decision to retire and I will not interfere in it, but there could be many reasons for the way he took retirement. Only Ashwin knows, it is possible that insult may be the reason for this.
