A stunning four-wicket haul from Ravi Bishnoi has set up the Rajasthan Royals’ 6-run victory in the thriller game against the Gujarat Titans on April 04 at Ahmedabad.
He four wickets in his four over spell for 41 runs has pulled the game towards Rajasthan and defend their total. By this win, Rajasthan retained their top spot in the IPL 2026 points table.
After choosing to bat first, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened the innings for Rajasthan while Mohammed Siraj opened the bowling attack.
The opener duo made a solid knock, scoring 69 runs in the power play. Rashid Khan, who came to bowl after powerplay, brought the first breakthrough dismissing young gun Vaibhav Suryavanshi for 31 runs.
Dhruv Jurel who came to bat joined Jaiswal to add runs to the scoreboard. Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored 55 runs got dismissed by Kagiso Rabada.
With Prasidh Krishna bagging the wicket of Riyan Parag for 8 runs, Ashok Sharma picked the wicket of Hetmyer for 18 runs.
In the mean time, Dhruv Jurel smashed fifty and went on to score 75 runs off 42 deliveries. Kagiso Rabada picked his second wicket dismissing Donovan Ferreira while Siraj picked his first wicket of Dhruv Jurel for 75 runs.
With Ravindra Jadeja and Jofra Archer at crease, Rajasthan Royals scored 210 runs in their 20 over innings.

Chasing 211 run target, Sai Sudharsan and Kumas Kushagra opened the innings while Jofra Archer opened the bowling attack.
With a calm knock from Kumar Kushagra, Sai Sudharsan made an impressive start as the duo made 56 runs in the powerplay.
They made a 78 run partnership before Riyan Parag bagged the wicket of Kumar Kushagra for 18 runs.
Said Sudharsan who made a 73-run knock off 44 deliveries, got dismissed by Ravin Bishnoi.
Ravi Bishnoi turned table against Gujarat Titans picking the wickets of Glenn Phillips and Washington Sundar for 3 and 4 runs in a single over.
Jos Buttler who came to bat made 26 runs off 14 deliveries before being dismissed by Nandre Burger. Gujarat Titans are in tight spot losing 5 wickets for 133 runs.
Rahul Tewatia who tried to forge a partnership with Shahrukh Khan got dimissed for 12 runs by Ravi Bishnoi. After his departure, Shahrukh Khan got dismissed on a runout.
Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada put up a intense fight as they were close towards victory. However, Rashid Khan got dismissed on Tushar Deshpande’s delivery with needing 7 runs from the final delivery.
Ravi Bishnoi picked four wickets while Nandre Burger, Tushar Deshpande and Riyan Parag bagged one wicket each.
Rajasthan Royals will play their next game against Mumbai Indians on April 07 at Guwahati.
