Ravi Shastri explained why Rohit looked ‘relaxed’ after India lost in Pune

Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri stated that Rohit Sharma is not going to take a loss in the Test series against New Zealand as something light. India has lost a three-match Test series against New Zealand in home grounds as the visitors won took the lead of 2-0.

Ravi was a part of the commentary panel during the Test in Pune, and said that Rohit will not take this loss lightly. He also added that Rohit might look relaxed from outside, but will surely be hurting from inside.

Rohit Sharma is a proud man. He will not take it lightly. Let me assure you of that. His body language might suggest that he’s very relaxed. But deep down, he’ll be hurting and hurting big. Not just with him but with every Indian player in that dressing room,” said Ravi Shastri.

Rohit Sharma also faced criticism for the way he captained defensively in the second Test against New Zealand. Commentators also pointed out the fact that Rohit was allowing the visitors to take singles without any trouble and hence rotate the strike.
