250 grams water chestnut flour
2 grams celery
rock salt as required
2 hare done raw
Refined oil as required
Step 1 Boil raw bananas and grate them finely
To make these delicious puris, fill a vessel with water and boil raw banana with peel in it. After the raw bananas are boiled, peel them and grate them finely.
Step 2 Knead smooth dough using banana, flour and other spices. Next, take a mixing bowl and mix the grated banana with flour, rock salt and carom seeds. Mix well and knead the mixture to form a dough. If you feel that the flour is not mixing properly, you can add some water. After kneading the dough, keep it covered for about 30 minutes. When it sets, knead the dough again to make it smooth and firm. Step 3 Make small balls from the dough and roll them into puri shape. At this step, start heating refined oil in a deep-bottomed frying pan. While the oil is heating, make small balls from the dough and roll them into flat discs or puris with the help of a rolling pin. Step 4 Fry the puri until golden brown and enjoy it with your favorite curry. By now, the refined oil should be hot enough and ready for frying. Carefully, drop one puri into the hot oil and fry on medium flame. Flip the puris and cook from both sides until they turn golden brown. Similarly fry one poori at a time. Remove excess oil from the fried puri with the help of a perforated spoon and eat hot and fresh with your favorite curry or gravy.
