Big blow to RCB, DC and UP Warriors before WPL 2026! Star players withdrew their names
WPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals have suffered a major setback before the Women’s Premier League (WPL 2026) season. RCB’s Australian star Ellyse Perry and Delhi’s Annabel Sutherland have withdrawn from the fourth edition of the tournament due to personal reasons. Apart from this, USA’s Tara Norris will also not be available to play for UP Warriors.

Left-arm medium pacer Tara Norris has been selected in the USA national squad for the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier, which will be held in Nepal from January 18 to February 1, 2026. Because of this, she will not be available for the TATA Women’s Premier League 2026, which begins on January 9. UP Warriors have included uncapped Australian all-rounder Charlie Knott in his place. The note has been signed at a reserve price of Rs 10 lakh.
RCB has included Sayli Satghare in the team in place of Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry. Satghare will join RCB at a reserve price of Rs 30 lakh. DC has included Alana King in the team in place of Annabel Sutherland. The Australian leg-spinner, who played for UP Warriors last season, has played 27 T20I matches and taken 27 wickets. King will join DC at a reserve price of Rs 60 lakh.
