Jitesh Sharma’s performance has been increasing exponentially since his debut in 2022. He had good two seasons for PBKS in 2022 and 2023, scoring at a strike rate of 163 and 156 respectively.

After a impressive 2023 season, he earned his spot as Indian T20I wk-batter and finisher. He was given the designation of vice captain of PBKS last season after regular captain Shikar Dhawan was ruled out with an injury.

He was part of the squad which secured a 3-1 victory in recently concluded India’s tour of South Africa. His role of finisher will comes in handy for RCB as Dinesh Karthik become the RCB’s batting coach after the conclusion of IPL 2024 season.

He can be slotted in No.5 or below and play those useful cameos, while the likes of Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar can form the core of battng unit.
