This aggressive batting of David played an important role in helping RCB reach the big score of 250.

The 19th over of the innings proved to be very costly for CSK, which Jamie Overton came to bowl. Tim David scored a lot of runs in this over. He hit a six on the first ball, 2 runs on the second and a four on the third. After this, he scored three consecutive sixes on the last three balls and scored a total of 30 runs in the over. During this, one of his six was 106 meters long, which fell on the roof of the stadium. This over completely turned the match in favor of RCB.

RCB also made many big records in this match. RCB has become the first team in IPL history to score 250 or more against Chennai Super Kings. Earlier this record was in the name of Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans, who had scored 231 runs.
