The final match of Indian Premier League 2026 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans on 31st May. This match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both the teams have been strong throughout the season and entered the finals. RCB won Qualifier 1 to book their place in the final, while Gujarat beat Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 to seal their place in the final.

If it rains, who will be the champion?

In case of rain during the final match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans, an attempt will be made to complete the match on 31st May. If rain continues, the number of overs will be reduced. If rain continues, an additional 120 minutes will be added. A minimum of five overs will be played in each innings to decide the outcome of the match. If the match still doesn’t start, it won’t take place on May 31. In such a case, the match will be played on Reserve Day i.e. 1st June. If the match cannot start on the reserve day i.e. 1st June due to rain, the match will be declared cancelled. In such a case, a better position in the points table will give RCB the title.
