According to a Cricbuzz report, pitch No. 6, a mixed clay structure at the massive Narendra Modi Stadium, has been chosen for the final match, and all indications are that it will once again be a batting-friendly pitch. Earlier this year, 255 runs were scored on this pitch in the final of the T20 World Cup. In the same season, Gujarat had defeated RCB on the same pitch. However, RCB had won their first trophy on the same ground about a year ago.

The final is expected to be a high-scoring encounter, with the team winning the toss looking to bat first on the big night. If we talk about the players, then Royal Challengers Bangalore may seem to be a stronger team, but they had lost their last match at this ground to Gujarat Titans. Gujarat Titans have won five of their seven home matches here.

Talking about the head to head record between the two teams, overall RCB is ahead by 5-4, while in Ahmedabad both have the same record of 1-1. Of the nine matches played between the two teams, eight have been won by the team chasing the target. The only exception to this is Qualifier 1 played in Dharamshala.
