RCB vs LSG IPL 2026 Match: Lucknow Super Giants team all out for 146 runs

Bengaluru: Due to the stormy bowling of Rasikh Salam and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Royal Challengers Bangalore bowled out Lucknow Super Giants for 146 runs in the Indian Premier League on Wednesday. In front of the sharp bowling of Rasikh (four wickets for 24 runs) and Bhuvneshwar (three wickets for 27 runs), the Super Giants team was all out on the last ball of the innings.

Krunal Pandya also took two wickets for 38 runs. For Super Giants, opener Mitchell Marsh scored the highest score of 40 runs while Mukul Chaudhary contributed 39 runs and Ayush Badoni contributed 38 runs but none of the three could convert the good start into a big one. Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and decided to bowl first. Marsh and Aiden Markram (12) made a cautious start. Marsh sent Bhuvneshwar’s ball out of the stadium. Markram also welcomed Rasikh with a six but then the same fast bowler’s full toss was played into the hands of Devdutt Padikkal at cover. Captain Rishabh Pant retired hurt in the next over when the ball from Josh Hazlewood (1 for 20) hit his left elbow. The Super Giants team could score only 35 runs for one wicket in the power play, which is the team’s lowest score in the first six overs in the current season.

Nicholas Pooran’s poor form also continued and he played Hazlewood into the wickets after scoring just one run in seven balls. Marsh completed his half-century of team runs in the eighth over with fours and sixes off Krunal. Badoni delivered Krunal’s ball to the spectators but Marsh played the spinner’s ball on the wickets. Facing 32 balls, he hit three fours and two sixes. Mukul Chaudhary once again looked in good form. After opening the account with a four off Krunal, he also hit a six in the spinner’s next over. Badoni hit a four on Rasikh but was caught by wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma in the same over. He hit four fours and a six in his 24-ball innings. After Badoni was out, Pant came out to bat again but after scoring only one run, he was caught by Phil Salt on the ball of Bhuvneshwar. Bhuvneshwar dismissed George Linde (07) and Mohammed Shami (00) on consecutive balls while Rasikh ended the Super Giants’ innings by sending Mukul and Avesh Khan (01) to the pavilion.
