RCB batsmen showed their strength
Overall, the top order batsmen had an important contribution in this big innings of RCB. Virat Kohli played an inning of 50 runs in 38 balls and gave a strong start to the team. Along with him, Phil Salt batted in a stormy style and scored 78 runs in just 36 balls, which was the highest score for the team. Captain Rajat Patidar also showed aggressive style and scored 53 runs in 20 balls. The brilliant batting of these three took RCB to a big score.
At the end of the innings, Tim David batted fast and strengthened the team’s score. He scored 34 runs in 16 balls and his strike rate was 200. His short but effective innings played an important role in taking RCB to the huge score of 240. Mumbai Indians bowlers could not leave much impact in this match. Sherfane Rutherford’s stormy innings did not work for MI
