A husband and wife named Lalit and Lalita also lived in Bhogipur and there was deep love between the husband and wife. Lalit used to play music in the court of King Pundarika.

Once Lalit Raj along with Gandharvas was playing music in the court. While singing, his attention went to his wife and Lalit’s tone got spoiled. The king took this as an insult and became angry. In anger, the king cursed Lalit to become a demon. Due to the influence of the king’s curse, Lalit started eating meat and his face also became as terrible as that of a demon. Even after this, Lalita supported her husband and started asking people for a solution. Day by day the husband’s face became more grim.
