After the historic upheaval in the politics of West Bengal, Chief Minister of the state Subhendu Adhikari has recalled his biggest election victory in a very emotional and aggressive manner. Addressing a grand program of ‘Sanatan Chetna and Ram Rajya Jagran’ on Saturday, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the public. He said that he is extremely grateful that the country’s old dream of connecting Gangotri to Gangasagar in one thread has finally been fulfilled.
In his address, Subhendu Adhikari praised the vision of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that PM Modi’s vision regarding this big change was very clear, which has been realized today with everyone’s cooperation. He further said that he is deeply grateful that the entire area from the holy land of Uttarakhand to the sea coast of Bengal is now adorned with saffron color and lotus has bloomed everywhere. Inspiring enthusiasm among the workers, he said that now our main work is only to construct, put new development works on the ground and ensure the welfare of every section of the society.
Special mention was made of the historic victory of Bhawanipur.
Speaking from the stage, the Chief Minister of West Bengal described his victory on Bhawanipur Assembly seat as a wonderful milestone. He said with great enthusiasm that what happened in Bhawanipur is no less than a magnificent achievement and a great miracle. Recalling the election days, he said that people from every section had united to ensure his victory. Shubhendu Adhikari also highlighted that he had won the elections on two different seats, after which he gave up the Nandigram seat and took a big decision of keeping the Bhawanipur seat with him.
Promise to the public – ‘All the goons have run away, leave the rest to me now’
Showing his affection towards the people of Bhawanipur, Shubhendu Adhikari said that the people there have completely accepted me and I have formed an unbreakable bond with them. He promised that together we will work day and night to take Bengal, Kolkata and Bhawanipur to new heights of development and empower every citizen. Giving a strong message on law and order, the Chief Minister thundered that all the goons of the area have now run away in fear and whatever is left, the public should leave it to me. He assured that now everything will be completely fine. Let us remind you that Shubhendu Adhikari has registered this historic victory by defeating the state’s strong leader Mamata Banerjee in this Bhawanipur seat.
