Materials:
- 200 g Paneer (cut into cubes)
- 2 medium onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (pureeed)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chillies
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter

- First, soak the paneer pieces in mildly hot water for 5-7 minutes, so that they remain soft.
- Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion. Saute until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute. Then add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder and mix well.
- Now add the tomato puree and cook the mixture till the oil evaporates.
- Reduce the heat and add the curd and cook, stirring constantly, so that the curd does not split.
- Add paneer pieces to the prepared gravy and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
- Finally add garam masala and coriander and turn off the heat.
- Serve hot with paneer bhaji poli, paratha or rice. You can add a little butter on top to enhance the taste.
