Material
- Puri – 15 to 20
- Boiled potatoes – 2 (chopped)
- Boiled Gram or Moong – 1/2 cup
- Curd – 1 cup (beaten)
- Sweet tamarind-jaggery chutney – 1/2 cup
- Green Chutney – 1/4 cup
- Red Chilli – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Finely shaved – 1/2 cup
- Coriander – for garnish

- First break the puri gently from the top so that the saran can be filled inside.
- Stuff each puri with a little boiled potato and gram or moong.
- Now add some green chutney and tamarind-jaggery sweet chutney on it.
- Pour a generous amount of whipped curd over each puri.
- Sprinkle chaat masala, cumin seeds, red chillies and salt over it.
- Top with scallions and finely chopped coriander.
- Serve the ready curd puri immediately, so that the puri stays crisp.
- While making Dahi Puri, if the curd is kept cold and slightly sweetened, the taste will increase.
- Do not fill the puri for too long, otherwise it becomes soft.
