There is a possibility of light fog in the capital on Friday. Along with this, there is a possibility of very dense fog in Uttar Pradesh this morning. Dense fog is also expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Odisha.

The weather of Delhi-NCR will be like this

The maximum day temperature in Delhi-NCR is expected to be around 22 to 25 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature in the morning and night is expected to be between 6 to 10 degrees Celsius. The effect of cold wave will be visible throughout the day. There is an alert of dense fog and light mist in Delhi-NCR in the morning. This may reduce visibility.

Severe cold is falling in Rajasthan

Severe winter is occurring at many places in Rajasthan. The mercury was recorded at 4 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur on Wednesday night. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain dry in most parts of the state for the next week. However, due to the slight influence of a weak western disturbance, it may remain partly cloudy for two-three days. Due to this, an increase of one to two degrees may be seen in the minimum temperature.

Cold wave outbreak in Punjab-Haryana

Cold wave continues in Punjab and Haryana also. In many places in both the states, the minimum temperature remains a few degrees below normal. Faridkot was the coldest place in Punjab. The minimum temperature recorded here was 4.9 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.7 in Amritsar, 6.4 degree Celsius in Ludhiana, 7.4 in Patiala, 6.9 degree Celsius in Pathankot and 6.2 degree Celsius in Bathinda.

Severe cold in Kashmir

Due to drop in temperature in most parts of Kashmir, people are facing severe cold at night. The temperature in Srinagar on Wednesday night dropped by 1 degree compared to Tuesday night and recorded minus 2.9 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was minus 3.2 degrees Celsius recorded in Qazigund in South Kashmir.

The Meteorological Department says that the weather is likely to remain dry till December 12. Between December 13 and 15, there may be light snowfall in some higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir. In the coming days, light to moderate haze may prevail at many places in Kashmir Valley.
