Recruitment for 100 posts from Sports Authority of India, apply till June 27, know eligibility and selection process.

Sports Authority of India has announced recruitment for Assistant Coach posts (SAI Recruitment 2026). For which the appointment of candidates will be based on short term contract. The application process is currently going on. Eligible candidates can apply in offline mode till 5:00 PM. Vacancy related notification has also been issued. Apart from this, photocopies of certificates of qualification, age, experience, research etc. will also have to be attached with the application form.

The form has to be sent to “Office of the Deputy Director (HR Department-II), Sports Authority of India (HQ), Gate No. 10 East Gate, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road New Delhi-110003” within the prescribed time limit. Total number of vacancies is 100.

Who can fill the form?

Officers working under the Central Government/State Governments or Union Territory Administration who hold corresponding post in their parent cadre post or department can apply. Or officers with at least 6 years of regular service in Level 5 with pay scale ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,000 are also allowed to apply.

Candidates must have Diploma in Coaching or equivalent from SAI NS NIS Patiala or any other recognized Indian/Foreign University or Institute. Also candidates having certificate course in coaching with participation in Olympics/Paralympics/Asian Games/World Championships or equivalent/Dronacharya award winners or as defined by the governing body of Sports Authority of India in respect of sports quota recruitment can apply. The prescribed age limit should be maximum 26 years.

Selection Process and Salary

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of qualification and experience entered in the application form. Then they will be invited for interview. The merit list will be prepared by the committee selected by the selection competent authority. After appointment, the salary will range from Rs 34,000 to Rs 1,12,400 under Level 6 in the pay matrix (Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay Rs 4200).
