Recruitment for 1265 posts in High Court, application starts from May 26, know eligibility, fees and selection process

Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued recruitment for various posts (High Court Recruitment 2026). For which the application process is going to start from 4:00 pm on 26th May. Eligible and Interested Candidates Online Official Website sssc.gov.in You can apply till 4:00 pm on 23rd July. Before this all candidates are advised to read the notification.

The total number of vacancies is 1265. The vacancy is divided into different categories. To apply, male candidates of general category will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200. Whereas the application fee for women is Rs 875. The application fee for SC(DSC)/ST(OSC)/BC-A/BC-B/EWS candidates of Haryana is Rs 710. PwBD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Who can apply?

The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years and maximum 42 years. SC/ST and Backward Class candidates will be given relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. Candidates should have graduation degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, proficiency in computer is also mandatory. Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the candidates to pass 10th with Hindi or Sanskrit. Hindi should also be a subject in 12th/Graduate/Post Graduation.

selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination (computer based test), computer proficiency test and document verification. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in CBT. The written examination will be of full 100 marks. It will include two subjects – General Knowledge and English Composition. 50 multiple choice questions will be asked in General Knowledge. Maximum marks will be 50. Each question will be of one mark.

The English Composition paper will be both objective and subjective. The number of multiple choice questions will be 50, total marks will be 20. Questions related to essay writing will be asked for 5 marks, letter writing for five marks, summary for 10 marks and questions related to Hindi to English translation will be asked for 10 marks. Duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
