Now Red Fort will open every day: Archaeological Survey of India issued order, ASI took the decision

The historic Red Fort located in Delhi will now be open to visitors on all days of the week. Officials of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) have given this information. Earlier this Mughal era monument remained closed every Monday.

Order came into effect from 16th February

The Red Fort is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. ASI has issued an order in this regard. This order has been issued recently. A senior official said that as per the order, the Red Fort will remain open on Monday also. This order has become effective from 16 February. The Red Fort was opened on 16 February. The order is signed by the Director General of ASI. This order was issued on 13 February. ASI manages the country’s centrally protected monuments.
