Redmi K80 : Xiaomi's Redmi K80 series has been awaited for a long time and now this wait is about to end. On November 27, the company is going to launch two new smartphones in its new K80 series – Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro.
These smartphones will be launched in the market as successors to the previous K70 series. The company is presenting both these smartphones in the flagship segment, promising better performance and powerful features.
Display and processor
The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro are expected to feature a high-quality 2K resolution AMOLED display, developed by TCL Huaxing. Customized M9 luminescent material has been used in it, which improves the visual quality and brightness of the display. This display will come with hardware-level eye protection, which will cause less impact on the eyes during prolonged use.
In terms of performance also, Redmi K80 is ready to give tough competition to the series. The top model i.e. K80 Pro will be provided with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is based on 3nm architecture. The base model K80 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which promises great speed and smooth multitasking experience.

Talking about the camera setup of Redmi K80, it will include 50MP OmniVision OV50 main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens and 2MP macro lens. For selfie, the phone will have a 20MP Omnivision OV20B front camera. At the same time, the K80 Pro will also have a high-quality camera setup, which will include a 50MP main sensor, a 32MP high-resolution ultrawide sensor and a 50MP ISCOELL JN5 telephoto lens.
Both the phones will be strong in terms of battery capacity also. The Redmi K80 will pack a massive 6500mAh battery, which will support 90W wired charging. Whereas K80 Pro will have 6000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
Xiaomi claims that these smartphones will not only provide excellent performance but will also offer excellent battery backup and charging speed, so that users can enjoy all the features of the smartphone for a long time.
