Xiaomi’s new smartphone Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is going to be launched in India tomorrow i.e. on 2 April 2026. This phone has been specially designed for its large 5,800mAh battery, 50MP primary camera and lag-free performance for up to 48 months.

This special edition phone includes 45W fast charging, dual rear camera setup and stylish color options like Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve and Frosted White. According to the supported microsite for Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, this handset will be provided with a 5,800mAh battery, which according to the company can be used for more than 44 hours on a single charge. Additionally, it will support 45W wired fast charging. This confirms that the battery of this phone will be larger than the 5,520mAh battery of the standard Redmi Note 15 5G.

The company has confirmed that this special edition will be available for sale in India through Flipkart. Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will come in Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve (Red) and Frosted White color variants. The Crimson Reserve variant will have a vegan leather back panel and its thickness is 7.82mm.

The phone will have a dual rear camera setup, which is placed inside the square-coloured deco. It will have a 50MP MasterPixel primary shooter, which can record 4K video. It is worth noting that the standard edition has a 108MP primary camera and 8MP ultrawide camera.

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which is also used in the standard Redmi Note 15 5G.
