Redmi Note 17 will come to India soon: Will be equipped with 7-inch OLED screen and 8000mAh battery, features leaked

Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone Redmi Note 17 may soon be launched in the Indian market. The company has not yet announced its official launch date, but the phone has already been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. Now information related to the storage and color options of its Indian variant has come to light.

According to the leaked report, tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed that the Indian model of Redmi Note 17 may initially be offered in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants. The phone is likely to be launched in Blue and Dark Night color options. However, other storage variants can also be introduced by the company in the coming time.

Possible specifications of Redmi Note 17
According to reports, Redmi Note 17 can have a 7-inch OLED display, which will support 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the display can be up to 1,200 nits. For performance, the phone is expected to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor. At the same time, a large battery of 8,000mAh can be provided in it for power backup. For charging, the phone is likely to have 45W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging support.

Talking about camera features, Redmi Note 17 can be provided with a 50MP primary camera at the back, which will be placed in a newly designed square camera module. The phone is expected to have a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling. In terms of software, this smartphone can be launched with Android 16 based HyperOS.

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the India launch date and price of Redmi Note 17. It is believed that it can be introduced in India some time after its launch in China. The phone is expected to enter China on July 14. According to leaks, the starting price of Redmi Note 17 in India can be around Rs 34,990. However, this information is not official and changes in price and features are possible at the time of launch.
